It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the Mayor of La Center for the past eight years. Today, I look forward to the next four years of public service, and the opportunity to continue my effort to build a strong, financially stable, and sustainable future for La Center. I also look forward to working with the members of the city council, our dedicated city employees, and the citizens of La Center to maintain and enhance our quality of life.
Our city is poised to benefit from the newly annexed area at the I-5 Junction. We welcome the new members of our community that reside in this area, and hope that they will participate in the many positive activities that La Center has to offer. We also look to this area as the gateway to planned economic development, job creation, and a bright future for our citizens. The next four years will be busy, and we must step up to the challenges that come our way. I encourage you to take the time to attend our public meetings and share your views as we work together for all of our citizens.
